At the National Program for Playground Safety (NPPS), we are proud to have Hannah as our Director, bringing a wealth of experience and passion for creating safer spaces for children to play, grow, and thrive.

Hannah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Iowa, an institution renowned for its commitment to preparing future professionals. Her educational foundation, coupled with her deep understanding of child development, has guided her throughout her career.

With years of experience in the nonprofit sector and extensive expertise in parks and recreation programming, Hannah has consistently worked to enhance community well-being. Her professional journey reflects a dedication to fostering meaningful collaborations, implementing data-driven strategies, and ensuring that recreational spaces serve as safe, welcoming environments for all.

Since stepping into her leadership role at NPPS, Hannah has implemented innovative changes, strengthened relationships within the communities we serve, and upheld NPPS's legacy as a leader in promoting best practices. Her vision is rooted in the belief that safe playgrounds are not just places for fun but essential for children’s physical, social, and emotional development.
